Franklin Richards:Summer Smackdown

This one-shot re-imagines a young Franklin Richards from The Fantastic Four as Calvin (from Bill Watterson's classically inventive strip) with H.E.R.B.I.E. (the hovering robot which was created for the 1978 animated FF cartoon by DePatie-Freleng that replaced The Human Torch because some suits at NBC were apparently afraid of children imitating the behavior of the Torch and setting themselves on fire) playing the role of the Hobbes, the tiger.
In this comic, Franklin is a mischievous child always getting into trouble, and it is H.E.R.B.I.E.'s job (as Franklin's babysitter) to keep the havoc to a minimum.

Getter Robo Go #1-#6

A 90s version of the series, Go is a lighter adaptation of Ishikawa's original manga with entirely new character designs. Subsequently, it remains the "black sheep" of the Getter franchise for lacking any of Ishikawa's trademark style and edginess, despite the fact that he and Nagai cooperated on the script. The original manga was much more well-received, and was briefly released in English by Viz Media as Venger Robo, a nod to Starvengers.

Getter Robo #1

The plot involves three strong-willed teenagers from the same high school: soccer player and martial artist Ryoma Nagare, rebel loner Hayato Jin and Judo master Musashi Tomoe, who pilot three specially designed combat jets which can be combined together in different forms to form three different kinds of giant robots, Getter-1 (for flight combat), Getter-2 (speed advantage for ground\undeground combat), and Getter-3 (strength advantage for submarine combat). They were assembled by Prof. Saotome, who conceived the Getter Robo project as a means of deep-space exploration; it became instead Earth's first line of defense against the Dinosaur Empire, a civilization of reptile-like humanoids who evolved from the now-extinct dinosaurs that roamed the earth millions of years ago. They have lived many years underground, and they now want to reclaim the Earth as theirs and destroy humanity.
